About the Journal
Pan African Journal of Applied Development Sciences (PAJADS) is the scholarly journal of the Pan African Institute for Development - East and Southern Africa (PAID-ESA). It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing rigorous and practically relevant scholarship in applied development sciences.
PAJADS welcomes contributions in the applied development sciences, with a strong emphasis on practical, solution-oriented approaches that demonstrate how interdisciplinary knowledge can advance sustainable development across Africa. The journal encourages submissions that bridge theory and practice, highlighting innovative, evidence-based interventions and contextually grounded solutions.
Contributions may span, but are not limited to, the following fields: development studies; public policy; education; governance; history; international relations; political science; law; economics; geostrategy and security; accounting and finance; project management; environmental and natural resource management; climate change and resilience; supply chain management; humanitarian action; peace and conflict studies; public health; disaster management; gender and social inclusion; GIS and remote sensing; innovation and technology; and broader domains of social transformation and applied interdisciplinary research.
