Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts to the Pan African Journal of Applied Development Sciences (PAJADS). The journal publishes high-quality work in applied development sciences, with particular interest in research and practice relevant to Africa and comparable development contexts.

Submissions may be made under the following sections: Research Articles, Review Papers, and Case Studies. Manuscripts should demonstrate scholarly rigor, clarity of argument, relevance to policy or practice, and appropriate engagement with current literature.

All submissions are first reviewed by the editorial team for scope, quality, structure, and compliance with journal requirements. Manuscripts that meet the journal's basic standards will proceed to double-blind peer review. A submission may be declined at the editorial screening stage if it falls outside the journal's scope or does not meet minimum scholarly and presentation standards.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submission is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and free from plagiarism. Where applicable, authors must confirm that ethical approval was obtained and that any necessary permissions have been secured for copyrighted materials, datasets, images, tables, or other third-party content.

Manuscripts should include a clear title, author details as requested by the system, an informative abstract, relevant keywords, and complete references. Authors should ensure that the manuscript is carefully proofread before submission and prepared in a style suitable for academic publication.
